Project Overview

Founded in July 2023, Chongqing Sanan Semiconductor is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanan Optoelectronics, specializing in the R&D, production and sales of silicon carbide (SiC) substrates.
The project adopts a one-time construction and phased commissioning model. Upon full completion, it will achieve an annual output of 480,000 pieces of 8-inch silicon carbide substrates.

Drawing on Hunan Sanan’s technical accumulation and production management experience in domestic silicon carbide substrate growth, and leveraging Chongqing’s sound government service and business environment, favorable policy support, as well as the talent and industrial cluster advantages of the High-Tech Science City, Chongqing Sanan is being built into a first-class professional silicon carbide substrate manufacturing base in China.
